I saw this little owl once a long time ago, and I continue to draw and paint her from my imagination. The wetlands acreage that we live is the perfect habitat for this Barred Owlet.
This is a monotype, meaning that it is the only one. It was run through my etching press on smooth acid-free 100% rag paper with archival pigment printing inks.
The acid-free matboard is hand-colored to complement the art, and it is hinged at the top with acid-free linen tape.
